The Most Commonly Asked Questions Parents Have About Martial Arts For Kids.
Are The Classes Safe?
Our Children's Martial Arts Curriculum has been designed to accommodate ages 3 and up. This allows children to successfully learn and perform their moves so that they will feel good about themselves. Our curriculum is challenging but never too difficult and, all the classes are highly supervised by our Certified Black Belt Instructors.
Will My Child Have Fun?
Motivation, excitement, positive reinforcement and fun are the essential tools we use to increase the learning and performance of our students. Our Martial Arts Program provides good, clean fun for children. We offer various school events that teach children how to get along better with others. Learning creates the spirit of teamwork and a sense of belonging. In recent months our students have met Martial Arts stars, attended pizza parties, birthday parties and much more.
Will My Child Learn To Be Abusive?
Every child is taught our "Student Creed", which is a necessary part of learning the philosophy of our Martial Arts Personal Development Center. Item four (4) in our Student Creed states..."to keep friendship with one another and to build a strong and happy community". Our Creed is a commitment students must learn in order to maintain the courtesy, respect and integrity of the Martial Art.
How Much Does It Cost?
Currently, Martial Arts Personal Development Center offers a great Basic Starter Karate Program. Our focus is to teach children "life skills" as well as how to conduct themselves on a daily basis. This program will include special classes to get your child started. Because a structure of respect, courtesy and honesty is built into Martial Arts, children develop the ability to listen, learn and achieve with a highly regulated environment. If you have ever thought about getting your child started in the lasting benefits of Martial Arts -- now is the time.
